Regions of Interest

A region of interest (ROI) is an area of an image defined for further analysis or processing, in which voxels that belong to the ROI are set to 1 and voxels outside the ROI are set to 0. Dragonfly provides a number of tools for labeling ROIs (see Segmentation Tools) and a number of options for processing ROIs, extracting measurements, and generating 3D models from segmented regions. Advanced analysis workflows are available for connected components (see Connected Components Analysis) and in specialized modules, such as Bone Analysis, Plug Analysis, and Pore Network Modeling.
